Tom Gnagey

With over eighty novels and nonfiction books, and hundreds of stories to his credit, Tom Gnagey* is one of today’s most prolific writers. His days as an author began long before his adult career as a clinical psychologist and, in fact, before he could even write, as his mother dutifully took down the stories he would spin after he got into bed at night. Bedtime stories, therefore, mean something quite different to Tom than they do to most folks. He continues to write every day from his home in the Ozark Mountains.

Tom prefers a simple life and spends his free time speaking, teaching, drawing, sculpting, and volunteering in child-help programs. His three series for 10 to 15 year olds are becoming staples on most reading lists (The Orvie Mysteries, Doc and Johnny’s Old West Mysteries, The Adam Martin Mysteries)..

In addition to his own name (general fiction, psychology, parenting, and social issues) his pennames include: Garrison Flint (mysteries), Grampa Gray (fun for seniors), Marc Miller (Ozark ghost mysteries), and David Drake (children and adolescents).
